The Uranus Cycle
Is Flashing A Warning....
People who have been subscribers to my newsletters for the past several years know that on occasion I have mentioned the “Uranus cycle”. The pushback every time I mentioned this cycle did not go unheeded. I have thus been very careful to not mention this cycle too much lest it upset people.
Uranus orbits the Sun in 84.02 years. I first read about this cycle in an old astrology manuscript from the 1930s. This cycle has a connection to conflict.
In 1692, settlers in the New World were engaged in the King William War in which tensions between New France and the English colonies boiled over. Uranus at that time was near 8 degrees of Gemini (geocentric zodiac wheel).
Fast forward one Uranus cycle and conflict resulted in the American colonies drafting the Declaration of Independence which announced no further loyalty to Britain. Uranus was at 9 degrees of Gemini (geocentric zodiac wheel) at the time of this declaration.
Forward another Uranus cycle and the events of the U.S. Civil war come into focus. When conflict started in this war, Uranus was at 8 degrees of Gemini (geocentric zodiac wheel).
Forward another Uranus cycle and the U.S. involvement in WW2 comes into focus. In June 1944, General Dwight D. Eisenhower orchestrated the Normandy D-Day invasion which brought the U.S. into the War and ultimately brought Nazi Germany to heel. Uranus was at 9 degrees of Gemini (geocentric zodiac wheel) at the time.
Are you seeing the pattern? This is why I have been reticent to discuss this cycle in my writings. Add one Uranus cycle to the 1944 events and one can see that in mid-2027 Uranus will be at 8 of Gemini again.
Up until recently, I was still under scrutiny over my Uranus cycle thoughts. My publisher of my 2026 Financial Astrology Almanac raised her eyebrows and rolled her eyes when I insisted on mentioning the Uranus cycle in the 2026 manuscript.
Here and now, I find myself in Portugal where I have come to escape the Canadian winter. In the February 28 issue of my newsletter - The Astrology Letter, I focused on the turmoil in AI stocks. In particular, I noted:
This past week was fraught with heightened emotions thanks to heliocentric planetary positions. During the week:
· Venus was conjunct to Saturn
· Earth was 150-degrees to Saturn
· Earth was 60-degrees to Mercury
· Venus was 150-degrees to Earth
· Venus moved to 120-degrees to Mercury by end of the week
· Mercury moved to 120-degrees to Saturn by end of the week
· Moon was at its declination maximum
· heliocentric Mercury was at its maximum declination
· heliocentric Venus was at 0-degrees declination
· Bayer’s Rule 11-A projected from the S&P 500 interim high on December 24-26, 2025 pointed to something happening on February 27.
This unsettling of human emotion culminated in something very unexpected mere hours after I hit the Send button on my email- a full scale invasion of Iran by U.S. and Israeli forces.
It has been almost surreal to sit on the deck of my AirBnB accommodation here in southern Portugal and watch (all day long…) rotations of fast moving aircraft heading east towards Iran. An hour or so later, a pair of fast moving aircraft could be seen heading west - back to the U.S. (I assume these are B2 Stealth bombers?).
Uranus right now in the geocentric zodiac wheel is at 28 Taurus. Uranus will be at 8 Gemini again in mid-2027. Is it possible that this conflict with Iran could grow and evolve into something that drags on for the next year and a bit?
As much as I hope a prolonged conflict is not in the cards, the Uranus pattern is clear. We are on the cusp of a major conflict event of some sort. Add to this the 18.6 year cycle that I have also been talking about. Normally it takes a major event of some sort to kick start the final innings of this cycle. These events in Iran certainly qualify….
Keep your investment powder dry. Don’t try to catch a falling knife in the kitchen. The markets are unsure of what to do. A beaten down stock that might look like a compelling buy today could turn into a money loser tomorrow. Be careful until we see some clarity and an exit offramp for Israel and the U.S. both.
