Welcome to the Planetary Trader
How does a former Investment Advisor with multiple degrees behind his name end up writing a planetary publication?
For that, you can thank Freemasonry and you can thank good fortune in 2012 that steered me to an Astrology Conference in New Orleans, USA. Everything happens for a reason.
I became a 3rd degree Freemason in 2003. I quickly learned that Masonry is steeped in mathematics. To cite one simple example, ritual says that a Mason is to approach the altar by way of three steps of about 15, 12, and 9 inches. What I came to eventually realize was that 15/12 = 1.25, 12/9 = 1.33, 15/9 = 1.67. This is a veiled allusion to Fibonacci values of 1.232, 1.38, 1.682.
And then, I learned that famed market trader W.D. Gann had been a Mason. My brain went into overdrive. Surely there was more to the stock and commodity markets than just fundamental analyst opinion and financial ratios. After many more years of reading and researching, I was gaining a deeper understanding of cycles and mathematical ratios.
And then fate beckoned again. I learned of an astrology conference to be held in New Orleans. USA in 2012. This proved to be the missing link. As above, so below. Events of our planetary cosmos influence our emotions. Our rawest of emotions, fear and greed, then influence the financial markets.
Since 2012, I have published over 10 books to educate and inform people of the connection between the cosmos and our emotions and the markets. In addition, I write a series of subscription based newsletters that also aim to raise the awareness of the cosmic link to the markets.
This offering on SubStack is another way of sharing my observations with people. I will focus on the broad picture in my weekly writing. I will focus on the major indices, metals, grains, energy, and currencies. I will avoid individual stock picks. The broader picture insights that I offer will help you better understand why the various individual sectors of the market are behaving as they are.
